Rachel Owen: Illustrations for Dante’s Inferno
Pembroke College (Harold Lee Room)
We will discuss the recent publication of Rachel Owen’s illustrations for Dante’s Inferno (Bodleian Lilbrary Publishing, 2021). The editor, David Bowe, will join us for a roundtable discussion on the exceptional work of former Oxford tutor Rachel Owen, whose prints will be exhibited in the Harold Lee Room as of 4pm for those who would like to peruse them before the event starts.

While celebrating the centenary of the poet’s birth, this two-day conference seeks to elicit discussion on the multi-faceted importance of Zanzotto’s writing and thought.
