Organized by the Italian Embassy in London and by Italian Studies at Oxford (ISO) In collaboration with the History of Art Department at the University of Oxford and the Oxford e-Research Centre
The symposium will concentrate on three main areas:
1. TECHNOLOGIES: scientific examination of artefacts using cutting edge techniques. 2. PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT: visual analysis / computer vision / data storage in research and education. 3. EDUCATION: new technologies in professional education in heritage management.
